Bourses d’étude Etat-Unis 2020 : #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship – University of Minnesota

The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship is offered for students planning to pursue their undergraduate studies at the university. The value of the scholarship is $16,000 per year for four years for tuition fees.

The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship recognizes international students who have a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding and have demonstrated leadership skills. The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities will award two annual, renewable scholarships covering $16,000 per year for four years. The scholarship is open to freshmen undergraduate international students of all academic majors and fields of study, and it is applied to tuition costs. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Global Excellence Scholarship.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be a freshman international applicant admitted to the University. 
• Must hold citizenship in a country outside the United States and who does not also possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Must maintain F-1 immigration status while enrolled at the University.
• Must demonstrate interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning.

To apply for the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship complete the early admission and submit by the early deadline of 1st November. Complete and submit the Scholarship application form by the deadline: 15th November 2019.

Application Process:

1. Complete your application for admission and submit all supporting documents to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities by our Early Action deadline of November 1.
2. Submit the one-page #YouAreWelcomeHere application to intlstudy@umn.edu by November 15, 2019.
3. If awarded a scholarship, claim it by submitting your confirmation deposit by May 1, 2020.
