Fuji Xerox Masters Scholarship in Computer Science

Victoria University of Wellington offers many scholarships and bursaries to students from all over the world to continue their studies in many fields.

History or background of award

Fuji Xerox has established a research scholarship as part of a five year partnership with Victoria University to support Masters’ students in Computer Science where the proposed area of study has commercial potential.

Purpose of award

To support Masters’ students in Computer Science where the proposed area of study has commercial potential.

Selection criteria

The scholarship shall be open to top students intending to do Masters in Computer Science. Their proposed area of study should have commercial potential. Selection will be based on academic merit and evidence of some hardship preventing them from pursuing study.

Decision makers

Successful recipient will be selected by a panel of Fuji Xerox representative and Head of School of Engineering and Computer Science.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?

The Victoria University Foundation will expect recipient to write a letter of thanks to the donor on receipt of the award. The recipient should provide a report of findings for Fuji Xerox and be prepared to make a presentation to them at the end of study.
