Bourse de recherche : Berlin Mathematical School – Allemagne – 2025 – 2026

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) Research Fellowship for the academic year 2025-2026 is intended for mathematics students at the advanced master's (Phase I) and doctoral (Phase II) levels, with monthly funding of approximately €1,000 for Phase I (18-24 months) and €1,600 for Phase II (24-36 months), partially including living expenses but not including health insurance; approximately 20% of doctoral students receive this direct funding, while the others must find additional funds through research projects, third-party funding, or assistantships. The BMS brings together the mathematics departments of the three major Berlin universities and offers a doctoral program in English, combining lectures, research, and academic support, without tuition fees, but the fellowship does not fully cover all costs related to study and accommodation. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree for Phase I or a master's degree for Phase II, and selection is based on strict academic criteria.
