1.The Ethel Rose Overton Scholarships are tenable for full-time postgraduate study at the University Of Canterbury in Fine Arts, Art History or Art Theory.
2. Scholarships may be awarded for study for a Bachelor’s degree with Honours, for a Master’s degree, or for the Ph.D. degree
3. Normally up to seven scholarships may be awarded each year to students enrolled for a BFA (Hons), BA (Hons), MFA or MA. In any one year there may be one scholarship holder studying for the Ph.D. The length of tenure shall normally be as follows:
a) One year for students enrolled for BFA (Hons), BA (Hons), MFA, or MA (Part I or II).
