The Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies appoints postdoctoral researchers in the arts through an international competition of high standards. In order to be taken into consideration, applicants must prepare their applications with care and in accordance with these guidelines. Applications for the position of the postdoctoral researcher in the arts are invited once a year through a general application procedure. The position of the postdoctoral researcher in the arts is located at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies and primarily aimed at a Doctor of Arts. However, persons engaged in artistic work who have completed a doctoral degree in a different academic field are also considered suitable applicants.
