Degree Level: Studentships are available to pursue PhD programme. Available Subject: Studentships are awarded in the field of History and Geography. The university invite applicants willing to undertake  PhD research in any area of Irish History, Environmental History, the History of Science and Medicine, Modern European History (particularly the history of Eastern Europe in the nineteenth and twentieth century’s); and Irish urban or rural historical Geography, Irish geomorphology, Irish water resources, remote sensing and  geopolitics. Scholarship Benefits: Studentship valued €15,000 (£13,080 converted salary*) plus fee waiver (Total value €21,000 – €27,000 will be awarded.
