Mophradat is providing a unique opportunity to conduct research in the archive of Meeting Points (spanning between 2004 to 2017). The opportunity is for a researcher interested in contemporary arts from the Arab world and curatorial models of exchange and presentation. Mophradat creates opportunities for artists from the Arab world* through an inventive approach to funding, commissioning, collaborating, and gathering. Between 2004 and 2017, Mophradat (and previously the Young Arab Theatre Fund) commissioned, produced and presented a touring arts multidisciplinary festival for the Arab world titled Meeting Points, which had eight editions. During its life span, the festival changed form, grew and contracted in response to changing circumstances, and was guest curated by Frie Leysen, Okwui Enwezor, WHW, amongst others.
