Scholarship : DAAD-ISAP Scholarship Program – Germany 2025 – 2026

The DAAD ISAP (International Study and Training Partnerships) program is an institutional cooperation program between German and international universities, aimed at establishing lasting partnerships through student and teacher exchanges. It allows groups of German and international students to complete a recognized part of their studies at a partner university, with academic recognition and often credit transfer or double degree agreements. This program concerns all fields of study, is aimed at different levels (bachelor's, master's, doctoral) and aims to strengthen the internationalization of institutions through long-term cooperation. Unlike traditional DAAD individual scholarships (such as EPOS or Helmut Schmidt), the DAAD ISAP does not directly fund individual student fees in the form of a full scholarship. Instead, it supports the partnership structures and mobility organized within this framework. Students participating in ISAP are therefore generally enrolled at partner universities and benefit from an institutional framework for their mobility, but should check with their university for specific funding arrangements. This program is indeed intended for international students within the framework of these partnerships, but it is not a fully funded individual scholarship like other DAAD programs.
