Scholarship : Eric Bleumink Program – Netherlands 2025 – 2026

The 2025-2026 Eric Bleumink Fellowship, offered by the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, is a fully funded scholarship for international students primarily from developing countries. It aims to support students wishing to pursue a one- or two-year master's program (MSc, MA, LL.M) in Groningen. This scholarship covers not only tuition fees, but also international travel expenses, living expenses, academic books, and health insurance, allowing recipients to fully devote themselves to their studies without financial worries. Established in tribute to Professor Eric Bleumink, former president of the university, this scholarship is part of a desire to strengthen cooperation between the University of Groningen and universities in developing countries, while contributing to the raising of academic standards in these regions. Selection is highly competitive and is based on academic excellence, motivation, financial need, as well as the applicants' ability to contribute to the development of their home country after their studies. Applicants must have received provisional or final admission to a master's program before February to be considered.
