The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Scholarship 2025-2026 is a comprehensive financial aid program for international students primarily from the Global South (Africa, Asia, Latin America), post-Soviet states, and Eastern and Southeast Europe. It supports students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs at public or accredited universities in Germany. Recipients receive a monthly stipend of approximately EUR 934 to cover living expenses, health insurance coverage, and an additional family allowance of EUR 160 per month for students with children. This scholarship does not require repayment and is designed to allow students to fully concentrate on their studies and social engagement. Beyond financial support, the FES Foundation values ​​candidates who demonstrate excellent academic achievement, sufficient German language proficiency, and a personal commitment to the values ​​of democracy, social justice, and civic responsibility. Scholarship recipients also receive support in the form of seminars, workshops, and mentoring, fostering their personal and professional development in an international setting.
