The University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship 2025-2026 is a fully funded scholarship for domestic and international students pursuing a Masters by Research or Doctoral (PhD) degree in human rights. It provides full tuition fees and an annual stipend of approximately AU$43,500 (2025 rate), indexed annually, to cover living expenses for up to 2 years for a Masters degree and 3.5 years for a PhD degree. In addition, they receive relocation support (AU$2,000 for travel within Australia and AU$3,000 for international students), as well as Overseas Student Health Cover for international students. The scholarship also includes limited paid leave for sickness, maternity, or parental leave.
