The University of Hamburg Merit Scholarship 2025-2026 is a partially funded scholarship offering monthly financial support of up to €930 for undergraduate and graduate students, and up to €1,200 per month for doctoral students. It is awarded for an initial period of two semesters (12 months), with the possibility of renewal, up to a maximum of two years, or exceptionally up to three years in well-justified cases. This scholarship does not cover all living expenses (accommodation, food, transportation), but it provides significant financial support allowing recipients to fully devote themselves to their studies and research.
