Making an Impact

Thanks to our scholarship and fellowship donors, many students like Frank-Nelson Musemate have been able to achieve their career goals and positively change their communities. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Musemate saw the impact of a failing infrastructure firsthand when a bridge close to his home collapsed, leading to loss of lives and property. He reasoned that the best way to help his community was to pursue a civil engineering degree. You can read Musemate's full story by clicking here.

The ACI Foundation awards more than $200,000 annually to students to both further their studies, and which provides professional exposure to the concrete industry and ACI by funding their travel to attend a number of ACI Concrete Convention and Expositions.

Further, the Foundation approved $335,000 in grant funding among six research projects in 2019. “Your generosity will boost the impact that the ACI Foundation’s funding will have on the concrete industry,” stated Joe Bracci, past CRC Chair.
