ERCIM

ERCIM (European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics) is an organization that aims to stimulate collaboration within the European research community and increase cooperation with European industry. The European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics was founded in 1989 by three research institutes: INRIA in France, GMD in Germany and CWI in the Netherlands. Since 2002, the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics has hosted the European branch of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics's activities include a fellowship program for postdoctoral fellows, a Cor Baayen Award and a scientific journal ERCIM News.
