Elle est le premier fabricant mondial de semi-conducteurs si on se base sur le chiffre d'affaires. Elle fabrique des microprocesseurs — c'est d'ailleurs elle qui a créé le premier microprocesseur x86 —, des cartes mères, des mémoires flash et des processeurs graphiques notamment.
