International Mathematical Union – Germany

IMU (International Mathematical Union) is an international non-governmental and non-profit scientific organization, with the purpose of promoting international cooperation in mathematics. It is a member of the International Science Council (ISC), which was created in 2018 as the result of a merger between the International Council for Science (ICSU) and the International Social Science Council (ISSC). IMU has endorsed repeatedly ICSU’s Principle of Freedom, Responsibility and Universality of Science.
